The Municipality of Cortes, in collaboration with the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), successfully conducted the Civil Society Organization (CSO) Capacity Development (CapDev) Program on December 17, 2025, at the Cortes Municipal Conference Hall. Municipal Mayor, Hon. Rodrigo Dennis B. Uy (in photo, standing), delivered a message of support, highlighting the vital role of citizen participation in promoting transparent, accountable, and responsive governance, following the opening remarks of Vice Mayor Hon. Nino H. Lumanas, who warmly welcomed the participants and emphasized the significance of capacity development in strengthening the role of CSOs as active partners in local governance.
