THE MORNING AFTER
When all the revelry has gone, peace and quiet loom to usher in the day.
Amid the chirping birds in the garden and the pitter-patter of the gently falling rain, gone are the loud bangs of firecrackers exploding, filling the air with pungent sulphur smell.
The previous night’s cacophony stand in stark contrast to the early morning calm. Thoughts from the year past flow through our heads in constant reminder of what to expect in the year ahead.
We leave behind the beautiful memories of the past, cherished forever in our hearts. All the pain and shortcomings we’ve had, we bury deep in our memory bank, teaching us valuable lessons from the days gone past.
As we reflect on what may come, we look forward with high hopes to help us through the days ahead.
Life is beautiful though it be hard. The trials we suffer test our strength. But with strong resolve and determination we can navigate the storms abrewing.
2025 was a tough year for our country and our people. Though we haven’t crossed the bridge successfully yet , the challenges we face are great and overwhelming.
But with faith in God and a recurring call to conscience, we can move forward and surge past our mistakes !
