In a world where family gatherings are a treasure, the Martin & Salome Nuñez Sr. Clan’s reunion was a truly special occasion.

Atty. Martin and Mrs. Josefina Nuñez share a moment with the event’s emcee, Ms. Gloria Leodivica Ines Araneta, of “SMILE”, Philippines.
The Sandugo Grand Ballroom at the Bohol Tropics Resort was abuzz with laughter, music, and the warmth of shared history on January 30, 2026. It was a night that would be etched in the memories of the eight siblings and their families, the many branches of the Nuñez family tree, for years to come.

The evening began with a heartfelt welcome from Atty. Martin Nuñez and Mrs. Josefina Nuñez, who traveled all the way from California to help lead the celebration. Dr. Gloria Tirol Casabal’s opening prayer set the tone for a night of gratitude and reflection, while Arthur Ungab’s live music created a relaxed and joyful atmosphere.

As the slideshow played, old photos and family milestones brought back a flood of memories for the older generation, and shared the clan’s legacy with the younger ones. The evening was filled with music, dance, and performances that showcased the family’s talent and creativity. Jay and Nina Hernandez’s duet, Atty. Martin Nuñez’s message, and Jay and Jorge Hernandez’s keyboard and song number were just a few highlights of the night.
But the true centerpiece of the evening was the introduction of the eight siblings and their families, a celebration of the many branches of the Nuñez family tree. The families honored were Selumiela Nuñez Del Rosario and Atty. Miller Del Rosario; Atty. Eliezer B. Nuñez and Purah A. Nuñez; Elizabeth N. Leopando and Atty. Uriel Leopando; and Samuel B. Nuñez and Pastrinia T. Nuñez. Also recognized were the families of Archadio B. Nuñez and Gregoria Q. Nuñez; Meriam N. Amonsot and Helario Amonsot; Nathaniella N. Ferrer and Nicanor Ferrer; and Atty. Martin Jr. B. Nuñez and Josefina S. Nuñez.

The night was filled with laughter and joy, as the family participated in games and dances that got everyone involved. From the grandchildren’s dance to the “Bring Me” game, and from the “Statue Dance” to the Zumba session, the energy was infectious. As the evening drew to a close, it was clear that this was a night that would be remembered for years to come – a celebration of family, love, and legacy that would continue to grow and thrive for generations to come.
