He said: “Thank you Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) for including Buenavista residents as beneficiaries of the Walang Gutom Program (WGP) 2027. WGP aims to reduce involuntary hunger among low-income households and help them become more productive citizens. Beneficiaries are selected from the 2019 Listahanan 3 database, excluding current 4Ps members. The program offers food assistance, Nutrition Education Sessions (NES), and empowerment initiatives like livelihood training and community development to support low-income households. In return, beneficiaries must participate in NES, follow program guidelines, use resources responsibly, engage in community activities, and keep their information updated to maintain eligibility.
