The Local Government Unit of Calape headed by Mayor Junie Yu (front row, 2nd from left) successfully conducted the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) Turnover Ceremony for the partner associations of the municipality, namely KINAMADA Association, Cabila Cattle Raisers Association, Stabonzone Workers Association, Abucayansan Association, Magtongtong Talisay Fisherfolk Association, Cacasamul Association, MB Cattle Raisers Association, and Pangangan SLP Association. The activity was made possible through the support of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Region VII. Present during the ceremony were the two SLP Focal Persons, Mr. Williard A. Boquil and Mr. John Fred Decierdo, both Project Development Officers II. The turnover highlights the government’s commitment to empowering community-based organizations. Through the SLP, beneficiaries are provided with sustainable livelihood opportunities to improve income and productivity.
