On February 16, 2026, the Municipality of Sikatuna proudly celebrated the achievement of its Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO–Sikatuna), which was honored during the LDRRMCO Regional Assessment. The municipality earned a Plaque of Recognition in acknowledgment of its strong participation and sustained commitment to advancing local disaster risk reduction and management programs.
