Jollibee opens at Tubigon
Fastfood giant Jollibee recently opened its eight store in Bohol, right in the heart of the 1st class municipality of Tubigon, last Friday, February 27.
Located cornerside along the national highway in Poblacion, just across the Holy Cross Academy and a few meters away from the town plaza, the new Jollibee drive-thru store is open 24 hours, perfect for the hundreds of daily travelers and motorists to and from the northern part of Bohol, as well as passengers going to and from Cebu City. .
Jollibee-Tubigon now spreads out its langhap-sarap goodness catering not just diners in Tubigon but from nearby populated towns of Clarin, Sagbayan, Calape, and even as far as Loon, San Isidro, and Catigbian.
During the opening day as early as 6 am, the first 100 customers with any value meal food purchase availed themselves of free one (1) Yumburger; while for every purchase of Chickenjoy Bucket until today, March 1, you can get one (1) free Jollibee tumbler. One can also join the Jolly Roleta for a minimum purchase worth P500 and win instant prizes until today.
Jollibee beloved mascots especially the Jollitown friends — Jollibee, Hetty, Popo, Twirlie, and Yum — entertained everyone during the first two days last February 27 and 28, and today at 8 am and 2 pm.
The blessing and ribbon cutting ceremony was conducted a day earlier last Thursday afternoon, February 26, attended by some top executives of Jollibee Food Corporation and the Alturas Group of Companies, together with the municipal officials of Tubigon headed by Mayor Marlon Amila. Hon. Congressman of the 1st District of Bohol, John Geesnell “Baba” Yap II, led the ceremonial ribbon cutting.
Aside from the new Jollibee-Tubigon, other Jollibee stores in Bohol are located at Island City Mall, Alturas Mall, Alta Citta, Plaza Marcela, Alturas-Talibon, Alona-Panglao, and Jollibee Drive-thru at CPG Avenue corner old Calceta Street, this city.
It was in April 18, 1998, that Jollibee opened its first-ever store here in Bohol at Plaza Marcela.
