IBP-BOHOL HOLDS ORIENTATION OF NEW LAWYERS
The 27th Board of Officers and Directors of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) – Bohol Chapter, led by its President, Atty. John Jeric S. Lim, hosted an Orientation of New Lawyers yesterday, March 7, 2026, at Maxi Hotel and Event Center in Tagbilaran City, Bohol. The Program started with an Invocation and singing of the National Anthem, Bohol Hymn, and IBP March. Chapter Vice President, Atty. Harold T. Bayarcal, welcomed the participants who are newly minted lawyers after passing the 2025 Bar Examinations and were formally honored during the 2026 Honoring Night last February 21, 2026 with Supreme Court Associate Justice Jhosep Y. Lopez as Guest of Honor and Keynote Speaker.
Yours truly discussed about the IBP as an institution and how it can help and benefit lawyers. Atty. Elsie Delantar-Fabian, Office of the Clerk of Court, Regional Trial Court of Tagbilaran City, gave a lecture on Notarial Rules. Atty. Delantar-Fabian discussed how to file a Petition for Issuance of Notarial Commission, Do’s and Don’ts of Notarial Practice and required reportorial submissions. Assistant City Prosecutor, Hon. Adolfo M. Doroy, discussed “Lawyering in the Government Service” while Chapter President Atty. Lim gave tips and tidbits about “Lawyering in the Private Practice” as the final topic.
Chapter President Atty. Lim and Chapter Vice President Atty. Bayarcal led the giving of Certificates of Appreciation to Speakers and Certificates of Participation and Tariff Standees to the new lawyers. The Program was hosted by Chapter Secretary, Atty. Zeah O. Zamora.
