The Local Government Unit of Loon, led by Mayor Pedro “Dodong” M. Literatus, Jr. (inset, upper left corner), has strengthened its partnership with the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Region VII for skills training initiatives. Personnel from OWWA Region VII recently visited the Office of the Mayor, where they were welcomed by Dr. Lloyd Peter M. Lopez, municipal administrator (extreme right). The visit aimed to coordinate and enhance the skills training programs offered by the Loon Manpower Development Skills Training and Assessment Center, in collaboration with the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Loon. The center, headed by Maricris M. Maestrado (center), is now an official partner of OWWA Region VII, providing skills training for active Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and their dependents.
