The question/statement is: “Survey: Misugyot si DILG Sec. Remulla nga wagtangon na ang SK (Sangguniang Kabataang). Unsay imong hunahuna kabahin niini?
The responses, comments and reactions posted by the netizens were:
∙ from Bong Sumatra – Judith B. Uy: Kung wagtangon ang SK, mas gamay ang chance nga ma-abuso ang pondo. Ang barangay council dili na mag-duplicate sa youth programs, mas klaro ang responsibilities. Wala na’y budget para sa SK elections ug honoraria, so mas daghan funds ma-allocate sa direct community projects. Malikayan na ang “political training ground” misuse sa mga pamilya as early entry point sa politika. Kung wala na, ma-limit ang dynastic influence. Apan ang mga disbentaha, mao kini: Wala na’y formal channel para madungog ang tingog sa youth sa barangay governance. Mawala na ang leadership training sama sa pag-lead, pag-manage ug projects, ug pag-handle sa pondo. Kung wala na, ma-limit ang opportunities for early civic engagement. Mas huyang ang youth programs. Kung mawala, basin ma-neglect ang youth-specific needs. Ma-discourage ang mga kabataan sa political participation. Mahimong passive ug dili ma-expose ang atong mga kabataan sa democratic processes.
