The Municipality of Loon held a Scubasurero Joint Operation on May 5, 2026 at Cabilao Island, Loon, Bohol for the Month of the Ocean 2026, Mayor Pedro “Dodong” M. Literatus, Jr. (inset, upper right corner) said. Led by CLEC Cluster 2 with the Bohol Provincial Government and BPEMO, and backed by PDRRMO, DENR/CENRO, BFAR, and partner stakeholders, the dive removed Crown of Thorns (COTs) threatening coral reefs. Sea Explorer Dive Shop in Cambaquiz, Cabilao Island assisted with dive tanks.
