Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish Balilihan celebrates Flores De Mayo to honor our Mother Mary, Mother of God and to thank her with beautiful flowers for her loving intercessions in bringing us closer to God. The event was attended by local officials: Balilihan Councilor Pureza Veloso-Chatto (2nd from right) and Mayor Trisha Chatto (3rd from right) on May 31, 2026. One comment said: “Unique pud ang celebration nga gihimo sa atong simbahan, led by our Parish Priest, Rev Fr Al John Miñoza (extreme left). Instead of the usual ‘arko’, flower-decorated umbrellas ang gihimo sa 21 ka barangays.
