126 foreign tourists tour Bohol Geopark aboard MV Heritage Adventurer: A total of 126 international tourists aboard the cruise vessel MV Heritage Adventurer docked at the Port of Baclayon early Saturday for a guided tour of the Bohol Island UNESCO Global Geopark. The itinerary included the Chocolate Hills, the Philippine Tarsier Sanctuary in Corella, and the Rajah Sikatuna Protected Landscape, highlighting the province’s geological formations, wildlife, and forest biodiversity. Officials of the Geopark said the visit reflects the site’s mission of promoting environmental stewardship and sustainable tourism by connecting visitors with Bohol’s geology, biodiversity, culture, and communities. Bohol was designated a UNESCO Global Geopark as part of the international Global Geoparks Network. (Contributed photo)
