ANOTHER JOLLIBEE OPENS IN THE CITY

Barely a month after the opening of its J.A. Clarin store last August 8, fastfood giant Jollibee opened another one last Friday, September 4, in Brgy. Mansasa, just near the busy Bool junction road, this city.

Located along the national highway which is a part of the long stretch of Venancio P. Inting Ave., the Jollibee East Road Mansasa is the 7th Jollibee store here in Tagbilaran City, and the 10th in Bohol.

A drive-thru store which serves 24 hours a day, the new Jollibee East Road Mansasa now caters to hundreds of diners daily. Commuters, motorists, and other travellers from the city going to the popular Panglao island and the different towns, particularly in the interior and eastern part of Bohol, can now either dine-in or order take-out, or avail the drive-thru service quick and easy.

During the opening day, the first 100 customers with any value meal food purchase availed themselves of free one (1) Yumburger; while customers with minimum purchase worth P500, joined the “Spin & Win” roleta game.

Also going on until September 15, is the Free Jollibee Umbrella promo for every P700 food purchase with Chickenjoy Bucket.

One can also get one (1) free Jollibee tumbler for every purchase of Spaghetti Family Pan, until supplies last.

As usual, Jollibee beloved mascots especially the Jollitown friends — Jollibee, Hetty, Popo, Twirlie, and Yum — entertain everyone while visiting and dining in the new Jollibee store.

The blessing and ribbon cutting ceremony were conducted a day earlier last Thursday, September 3, attended by some top executives of Jollibee Food Corporation and the franchisee Alturas Group of Companies, together with guest Tagb. City Mayor Jane Yap who led the ceremonial ribbon cutting.

Aside from the two new Jollibee stores along J.A. Clarin St. and in Brgy. Mansasa, other Jollibee stores in the city are located at Island City Mall, Alturas Mall, Alta Citta, Plaza Marcela, and Jollibee CPG Drive-thru.

Outside Tagbilaran City, there are also other Jollibee stores in Alturas Mall-Talibon, in the heart of Tubigon town, and in the booming tourist area of Alona in the island of Panglao.

It was in April 18, 1998, that Jollibee opened its first-ever store here in Bohol at Plaza Marcela.
