Sa dihang nagsugod na ang Hukmanan sa Kadastro sa Tagbilaran sa tuig 1930, si
Maghuhukom Rich mipadayag nga ang mga baryo sa Gaboc (karon: San Isidro) ug Tiptip mga
kabahin sa baryo Wadje nga gitáklì (ceded) sa Tagbilaran ngadto sa Paminuitan (karon: Cortes,
Bohol) sa tuig 1855. Busà, matod pa sa balaod, ang Gaboc ug Tiptip sakop sa lungsod sa Cortes.

“The letter of the Honorable, the Secretary of the Interior and Labor dated March 13,
1934, relative to the boundary controversy between the municipalities of Tagbilaran and Cortes,
this province, in which letter the Secretary requests comment and recommendation of this Board,
was read:”
“RESOLVED: To inform, as he is hereby informed the Secretary of Interior and Labor that
a plebiscite was held on July 29 and 30, 1932, the result of which was as follows:
In favor of Tagbilaran ——————98 votes
In favor of Cortes ———————– None”
RESOLVED FURTHER: That in view of the result of the plebiscite which was unanimous
in favor of Tagbilaran as indicated above, the Board recommend that the said result be given effect
and force.

Tiptip mahisakop gayod sa Tagbilaran, nangità sila og paagi nga likayan nila ang hukom sa
Hukmanan sa Katastro.
Ilang gihangyo ang Gobernador Heneral nga si Frank Murphy nga magpakanaog og
“Ambahanong Sugò (Executive Order) nga magmandò asa mahisakop ang mga baryo sa Gaboc
ug Tiptip.
Tungod kay ang Gobernador Heneral aduna may gahom (power) ug katungod (authority)
sa pagtukod ug usa ka lungsod pinaagi sa Ambahanong Sugò, ug sa maayong kapalaran nakabig
ang Gobernador Heneral nga magpakanaog og Ambahanong Sugò.
Ang Ambahanong Sugò
Ang Ambahanong Sugò sa Gobernador Heneral Frank Murphy gipakanaog sa Himabuyan
(May) 23, 1934.
Ang mosunod mao kini ang Ininglis nga Ambahanong Sugò Isip 483: (Dili na lang natò

EXECUTIVE ORDER
NO. 483
Upon recommendation of the provincial board of Bohol and the chief of the former
Executive Bureau and the Acting Secretary of the Interior, and pursuant to the provisions
of section sixty-eight of the Revised Administrative Code, the barrios of Gaboc and Tiptip
of the Municipality of Cortes, Province of Bohol, are hereby segregated from the said
municipality and annexed to the municipality of Tagbilaran, same province.
The municipality of Cortes shall consist of its present territory less the territory of
the barrios of Gaboc and Tiptip and the municipality of Tagbilaran shall consist of its
present territory plus the territory of the barrios of Gaboc and Tiptip.
The transfer herein made shall take effect on May thirty-first, nineteen hundred and
thirty-four, without prejudice to the rights of the registered voters of Gaboc and Tiptip to
exercise their right to vote to the municipality in which they have respectively been
registered for purposes of the next general election.

Gihinganlan kini sa katastro nga “Anislag Nuevo” o bag-ong Anislag, tungod kay wala na may
nakatuod sa “Anislag” nga gihinganlan sa tuig 1742.
Si Maghuhukom Rich nipadayag nga ang nahisulod sa bag-ong utlanan matod pa sa
Ambahanong Sugò, mga lunà sa yutà nga sakop sa Tagbilaran.
Kadtong walâ mahisulod, bisan tuod sakop sa “Wadje”, mga sakop sa lungsod sa Cortes.
Busà ang baryo sa La Paz ug Lourdes nahisakop sa lungsod sa Cortes tungod kay nahigawas kini
sa MBM No. 7. Ug hangtod karon mao gihapon kini
ang kahimtang.
