Vice Mayor Dodo Jumawid (in photo) led the Sangguniang Bayan (SB) in pressing for urgent, concrete action on September 3, 2026 to address the worsening water crisis and assist residents affected by the El Niño drought. The move comes months after the SB issued a pre-emptive advisory last May. The local law making body will also convene key municipal offices to review and fund mitigation measures for drinking water, agriculture, and livestock.
