Balilihan Councilor Pureza Veloso-Chatto (front row, seated) attended the SB Regular Session on Sept. 16, 2026. Several barangay proposed ordinances were referred to the Committee on Rules and Review. The proposed ordinance “Establishing the Collection and Sharing Scheme for Unpaid Traffic Violation Penalties, Granting 30% Share to the Barangay of Residence of the Violator…” authored by Councilor Pureza Chatto was moved and seconded on Second Reading, amended, and laid on the table pending public hearing. The proposed ordinance “Institutionalizing Mental Health Support and the Paid Wellness Privilege for Job Order and Contract of Service Workers of the Municipality of Balilihan” authored by Councilor Pureza Chatto was approved on third and final reading. The proposed ordinance “Prohibiting Lending Companies, Financial Institutions, and Similar Entities from Withholding ATM Cards and/or Requiring the Disclosure of Personal Identification Number (PIN) of DWD 4Ps Beneficiaries as Collateral or Security for Loans” authored by Hon.
