This edition of VOX POPULI is featuring the netizens’ reactions, responses and comments to one survey question posted on the FB wall of the Managing Editor of The Bohol Tribune.
The survey question is: “Should VP Sarah be happy with the withdrawal of the articles on grave threat, bribery & confidential funds from the impeachment trial?”
The responses from the netizens are:
∙ from Ayen Ocampo: Personally Tita Ardy sayon i ingon kalipay na dha.. again this isnt na DDS ba ko or BBM cause sa tinuod lang pod kung naa koy paburan ang nagbuhi sa ako and sa amo mga bata..una for giving my husband a job na nkatabang sa among pamilya.. But d nato basehan ang impeachment maski nlng i base nato sa personal nato na kinabuhi unsa na human ka gi tamastamasan ungkaton tanan maski nkalubong na nga mga issue or walay apil na issue..kalit mo ingon drop nlng nato ni ahaka…Again no bashing cause this is me..
- from Rod Jandayan Olandria: Ayen Ocampo exactly,,so ang purpose jud nila siraan lang si Sara….
- from Erwin Baquial: Her sufferings are also felt by Filipinos who feel betrayed by our Klepto politicians
- from Ma Belle: Erwin Baquial her sufferings??
- from Wilma Gran: Ma Belle NO WAY
- from Jorge Wilfredo Castrodes: Mam Ardy, diba mas normal nga malipay ang gikasohan nga sa 4 nya nga kaso mahimo nalang 1? Sa Abogado, di ba pud na normal Mam Ardy, kay macut short iyang PF nga og wala pa e-withdraw possibly pang moabot next year? Sen. Bam was right for the Lawyer to consult her Client first. Can imagine also Atty Shiella having a fistfight with Atty Girville. For 39 days bugbog sarado! He he he!
- from Rhine Pamaong: Asa ra man ang gi claim sa prosecution panel from the very start that the impeachment articles are sufficient in form and substance? What a waste of peoples money, time , effort and energy only to withdraw the accusations after a gruelling 38 court days. Whoever masterminded this very unfair prosecution panel’s “strategy ” will be indelibly etched in our Philippine history in a very negative way! How can the VP be happy when she is not given a fair chance in court to prove that the allegations against her are not true!
- from Desiderio Asane: Kun basihan nila ang article 2 sa pag impeach, isn’t it unfair for the rest of them? Anyone from the upper and lower houses doesn’t have an unexplained wealth? Let them share their financial assets and properties too, to the public so the people may know and their verdict to impeach an official would be lawful. Dapat, limpyo sab sila sa ilang reklamo against VP Sara. They withdrawn the other articles which were actually their major outcry for impeachment maybe because they lack evidence, but they explore the personal and private properties of their opponent. What is really their purpose of having this impeachment trial?
Dapat pabaluson ug suntok ang kampo sa atong VP PRESIDENTE O withdrew all ARTICLES OF IMPEACHMENT.
- from Jorge Wilfredo Castrodes to EnriqueIv Madanguit: Diba normal sa regular courts na sa tungax2 sa kaso, daghang kaso giwithdraw by the complainants ang kaso for various reasons? What made this case different? CIRCUS SA PROSECUTION? Diba that is their right? PAGHILO SA KATAWHAN? Hilo diay nimo og hatagan kag mga ebidensya ug witnesses nga ang imong kwarta gikurakot nas Lingkod bayan natin? PABALUSON UG SUNTOK? Diba almost 2 years nang gustong PABALUSON (to answer the allegations) si VPSara? WITHDRAW ALL ARTICLES OF IMPEACHMENT.
- from EnriqueIv Madanguit to Jorge Wilfredo Castrodes: Sabta ug dili bako gusto mo account ang VP PRESIDENTE.
- from Jorge Wilfredo Castrodes: Hope VPSara won’t follow or approve Atty Shiella’s reaction kay og maoy mahitabo, I can imagine mamorag tawong gihagad og sombagay si VPSara nga wala ngud mo sukol ug gasegig likaylikay ra for almost 2 years bisag gikwelyohan ug gishadow boxing na! He he he!
- from Jeconias Ursos: Maam Ardy, utot nang impeachment.. Tinunto to the max na. Waste of people’s money. ..Ag flood control scandal ..Ag maleta de basura ..Illegal Drugs ..Criminalities ..Super El Nin̈o ug uban pa Kmusta GITAGAD ba?
- from Jorge Wilfredo Castrodes to Jeconias Ursos: Kong ang IMPEACHMENT mao ray gainusarang paagi nga matangtang ang usa ka IMPEACHABLE OFFICIAL nga nakitaan og mga impeachable offenses ngano mang UTOT, TINUNTO O WASTE OF MONEY MAN SA KATAWHAN? MALETA, diba gikiha si Martin using the Maleta Boys as the Witnesses? ILLEGAL DRUGS, diba segi dakop sa Davao? ANGAL na gani Mayor Baste kay nganong dili sya pahibal-on. CRIMINALITIES, diba active man atong mga kapulisan ana? SUPER EL NIÑO, diba segi man pahibalo kaso lang kay hatagan man ninyo ug laing meaning! The BALDE STORY is a metaphor of having a container to use to save water in time of La Niña/Rainy/Flood Seasons & El Niño/Drought/No Rain Season! With the smart use of a container we can survive from the time of having so much water (flood season) to the time of having scarce water (drought/el niño). Instead of understanding or appreciating the DDS prefer literally misunderstanding & figuratively misquoting the word BALDE! The message was made to help us to survive two different situations that if understood and solved smartly, the 2 problems were just the answer to its other! Who are more OPLIKIKS now, ang nag-advice o ang wala kasabot/gustong di mosabot? Pasensya na. Just asking clarificatory questions on your statements. No offense made just a friendly discussion.
- from Rhine Pamaong: Ang dakong pangutana si Sarah ra ba ang na-ay unexplained wealth among the high ranking government officials starting from the the president down to the senators, Congressmen, provincial, town and city officials? Kanang mga senators and congressmen who are obviously contractors and suppliers of DPWH projects , we will just ignore them because they belong to the same political color ? Is it fair to persecute only one person when we know that there are so many of them so she can not run after these crocs if she becomes president in 2028?
- from Angelo Balili: Suffering ??? Nothing can be more blind than one who refuses to see!!
- from Ene W Sato: Ga mug-ot nuon, Ma’am. But guilty in 1 article is enough for removal from office. Hehehe
- from Kaila Te: Nag sayang ug kwarta ni cla sa HOR. All personal & political ni ilaha. Wala silay solid evidence pagka tinuod
- !from Julius Buñol Agilles: Nope mam Ardy Ines Araneta Batoy Mas Delicado Sya Sa article 2. Unexplained Wealth.
- from Rain FostanesCalimbayan: Ang nag suffer ang katawhan
- from Wilma Gran to Rain FostanesCalimbayan: TRUE ABSOLUTELY
- from Samuel Belderol: Posas
- from Sabina Niluag Hangad: Dapat both side ang marinig nang taong bayan.
- from Marcos Figueras Castro: Malipay man si VP Sara or dili maam Ardz Ardy Ines Araneta Batoy waman pud koy labot ang akoa lang nalooy na kog advance sa mga tawo nga nakalimot sa TAKSANAN NGA ILANG GIGAMIT KARON PAGAGAMITON PUD NGADTO KANILA SA UMAABOT
- from Esteban Turan to Dong Cris: unexplained wealth siya mate. No way out
- from Francisco Monton: Mao ni gi ingon mam ardy nga UN EXPLAIN WITHDRAWAL, SAYANG ANG GASTO UG PANAHON SA HEARING SA LOWER HOUSE UG TRIAL SA SENADO UNYA WITHDRAW LANG
- from Christian Francis Barrete: And now, the end is near.. Happy Funny Face Sticker by Nattan_Universe
- from Julius Buñol Agilles: May be an image of text
- from Elvie AraSol: Hayahaya man
- from Judith Araneta: Not at all hehe
- from Felix Cempron: No. It is a trap.
- from Bryce Auditor: I hope she’s feeling the pressure now now that the prosecution has zeroed in on Sara Duterte’s unexplained wealth, the question is no longer just how much money she has, but how she acquired it, and whether she can account for every peso. Public office is not a license to accumulate wealth without scrutiny. They have a very strong case, and they’re confident that this issue could ultimately lead to her prosecution and impeachment.
- from Ma Belle to Bryce Auditor: …. Tama ka Sir, well said
- from Evelyn Lomnatas to Bryce Auditor: Point one finger and three are pointing at you …. So let all of them be behind bars : how to do it
- from Ierneb Ollitsac: I can Not fathom the wisdom behind the Prosecution ‘s withdrawal of Grave Threat despite the razor- sharp direct of Atty.Ligutan and hard evidences of the NBI.It is like mountains are in labor for the birth of a rediculous mouse!!
- from Ronilo Sepe: Wasting time …2028 na mo bali na mga SENADOR so d ma impeach … if ma impeach…
- from Alfredo Oñes: Deperent tengking jijiji
