3rd District Rep.’s comes out with this week’s record of activities
Another family receives a modest housing unit (the 38th) under the Pabahay Program. The housing unit is situated at Purok 5, Aloja, Batuan town. Present during the turnover activity were (from left): Sangguniang Bayan (SB) Member Zeniza Bulalaque, Cong. Kristine Alexie Tutor, Emie & Romie Jagutin (the housing project) beneficiaries and Mayor Antonio Jumawid of Batuan town.
DOLE holds TUPAD orientation in 3 towns
The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) conducts orientation activities for the Tulong Pangkabuhayan para sa Ating Displaced Workers (TUPAD) in three (3) towns of the third district of Bohol.
The orientation sessions, facilitated by Janssen Ocana of the DOLE-Bohol Field Office, were held on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, 2020 in three (3) towns of the 3rd district, which are Garcia Hernandez, Bilar and Sierra Bullones.
TUPAD is a community-based package of assistance that provides emergency employment for displaced workers, underemployedworkers and seasonal workers, for a minimum period of 10 days, but not to exceed a maximum of 30 days, depending on the nature of work to be performed.
Rep. Kristine Alexie Tutor (standing and holding the microphone) delivers her message as she graces the Barangay Assembly of Catungawan Norte, Guindulman. The solon, in her message, revealed the news regarding the release of the funds for the P5 million evacuation center for the said barangay. She also announced the construction of 2 classroom buildings for the barangay’s elementary school. The barangay assembly was held on Nov. 28,2020.
