The Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) led by Vice Governor Rene Lopez Relampagos approved on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, an Appropriation Ordinance that authorizes the funding of priority programs and projects of the Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh) under Supplemental Budget No. 7.
These programs and projects are part of the items that were discussed and considered in approving the Supplemental Investment Program (SIP) Nos. 2 and 5 which were duly approved by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan in the previous sessions under separate resolutions.
Under the approved Supplemental Budget No. 7, the projects to be funded are the procurement and provision of Hybrid Rice Seeds for Food Security and Rice Self Sufficiency under the Advance Rice Technology (ART) 160, waterworks program in Bohol, construction of a dietary build at Cong. Natalio P. Castillo, Sr. Memorial Hospital, procurement of equipment and supplies for the Bohol ART Card or Contact Tracing Cards, renovation and improvement of the old Department of Environment and Natural Resources(DENR) building for the Office of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development’s new office, and latrine program under Community Development Program.
The supplemental budget also includes the necessary allocation for New Emerging and Re-emerging Disease Management Support Fund including support for the Vaccination Program, consulting services for environment and social impact assessment for Sustainable Inclusive Resilient Tourism (SIRT) projects, counterpart fund for Peace and Order, capacity development for the Special Citizen’s Armed Forces Geographical Unit (CAFGU) Active Auxiliary II in the Province of Bohol, renovation and improvement of Governor’s Mansion, and repair and maintenance of elevators at the Provincial Capitol.
