The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Bohol has issued show cause orders to retail establishments that allegedly have violated the price freeze order, according to a statement from the said agency.
As of Dec. 27, 2021, at least 50 letters of inquiry have already been issued across the entire Province of Bohol. 
This data is still partial as DTI Bohol is still verifying incoming data transmitted from the deployed monitoring teams.
Section 6 or Republic Act (RA) 7581 as amended by RA 10623, says that prices of basic necessities in areas declared under state or emergency and calamity shall automatically be frozen in their prevailing prices.

The price freeze shall remain in effect until 60 days unless lifted by President Duterte, according to the DTI.
