The tandem of presidential candidate, Vice President Leni Robredo, and vice presidential candidate, Sen. Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, drew thousands of Boholanos during its grand rally at the old airport on April 1, 2022.

Adrian Ayalin of ABS-CBN news said that the crowd estimate was 80,000.

Reports say that local organizers expected only 8,000 kakampinks, the term used to describe Robredo’s supporters based on her campaign color, which is pink.

Prior to the Tagbilaran City grand rally, Robredo and her party stopped at Talibon and in Jagna towns where mini-rallies were held.

Robredo asked for support from the crowd as the latter chanted “Leni”.

Robredo laid out her achievements and programs in Bohol despite having meager budget at the Office of the Vice President.

Robredo is a distant 2nd to Marcos Jr. who is the current survey frontrunner.
