Gi-aprobahan na ni Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Kalihim Amenah Pangandaman ang pagpagawas sa Notice of Cash Allocation (NCA) nga nagkantidad ug P8,053,474,140 sa Department of Agriculture (DA) alang sa pangapod-apod sa P5,000 subsidiya sa 1,563,781 ka mga mag-uuma alang sa ikatulo ug ika-upat nga kwarter sa tuig 2022.
Agi kini ug pagsunod sa implementasyon sa Rice Farmers’ Financial Assistance (RFFA) program, nga nagtinguhang suportahan ang mga mag-uuma sa humay nga apektado sa Rice Tariffication Law.
“Our farmers deserve our help and care. The immediate release of cash assistance could provide relief to our rice farmers given the recent natural calamities they experienced,” pahayag pa ni Pangandaman.
Gidugang usab sa kalihim nga kining unconditional cash nga tabang makahatag usab ug tabang sa mga mag-uuma sa humay sa pagsiguro sa mga inputs sa uma sama sa abono ug oil farm machinery.
Sakop usab sa NCA ang service fee, kauban ang kantidad sa card generation, alang sa Rice Competitive Enhancement Fund-RFFA ubos sa Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP).
Niadtong Marso 24, 2022 nagpagawas ang departamento ug Special Allotment Release Order (SARO) nga nagkantidad ug P8,948,302,090 sa DA ubos sa Unprogrammed Appropriations, General Appropriations Act fiscal year 2022, ug Republic Act 11639.
Niadto usab Mayo 6, 2022 napagawas na usab sa DA ang inisyal nga NCA nga nagkantidad ug P894,827,950 base sa computed budgetary requirements sa 173,753 nga kwalipikadong rice farmer-beneficiaries.
