Tagbilaran City, Bohol – The Fusion Nights, one of the most anticipated events of the Sandugo sa Bohol, kicked off its 8th year on July 21, 2023 at the Old Airport.
Hosted by the Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh) through the Bohol Economic Development and Investment Promotion Office (BEDIPO), the Fusion Nights is in partnership with the Bohol Association of Hotels, Resorts, and Restaurants (BAHRR).
The Fusion Nights is a 10-day event that aims to give Boholanos a taste of the cuisine served by known hotels and restaurants in the Province. This year, the event features 20 concessionaires offering a variety of food options, from Filipino to international cuisine.
The Fusion Nights opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Governor Aris Aumentado’s representative, Provincial Administrator Asteria Caberte, with 3rd District Board Member Nathaniel Binlod, BAHRR President Romel Gonzales, and Atty. Abel Damalerio, who represented 1st District Congressman Edgar Chatto.
“The Fusion Nights is a great way to showcase the culinary talents of our local chefs and restaurateurs,” said Governor Aumentado. “It is also a great opportunity for Boholanos to enjoy affordable, delicious meals from some of the best restaurants in the Province.”
The Fusion Nights are open from July 21 to 30 and are part of the Tabo Activity Stream of the Sandugo sa Bohol 2023. This activity is in line with the Strategic Change Agenda, which aims to foster a business-enabling environment that empowers local businesses and creates a thriving economic activity in the province.
“We are excited to be back for the 8th year of the Fusion Nights,” said BAHRR President Romel Gonzales. “This event is a great way to promote our local restaurants and help them grow their businesses.”
