Cong. Edgar Chatto (center) offered sympathies for the passing of Jonnabel C. Visperas, who died due to a venomous snake bite. He met with the mother, Annabel Visperas, along with Dr. Yul Lopez, Councilor Judy Veloso and Councilor Dondon Relampagos. He had earlier worked to ensure that anti-venom and trained personnel are available at Gallares Hospital. He also filed House Bill no. 09291 establishing the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine for the Visayas (RITM) in Cortes, Bohol, already approved by the House Committee on Health. This is also aligned with the plans to open a BISU College of Veterinary Medicine in Bilar Campus for RITM Research. Contributed photo
