RECOGNITION OF LOONANON AWARDEES, 2024 TAGIK POETRY WRITING COMPETITION. Municipality of Loon Mayor Elvi Peter L. Relampagos (inset, upper left corner) announced that the municipal government, through the 15th Sangguniang Bayan, headed by Vice Mayor Lloyd Peter M. Lopez, MD (rightmost, first row) and the SB Committee on Recognition and Achievements, chaired by SB Member Jeantte M. Vidal (fifth from right, second row), recently gave tokens of recognition and certificates of appreciation to the Loonanon poets who topped the provincewide 2024 TAGIK Poetry Writing Competition, organized by the Kaliwat ni Karyapa (KaKa), with the support of the Provincial Government of Bohol’s Center for Culture and Arts Development – Bohol, through the Bohol Arts and Cultural Heritage Council–Literary Arts Committee. The Loonanon poets-awardees are Mary Grace C. Ramada (second row, 5th from left) – winner, Binisaya Category; Argosy S. Nazareno (4th from left) – runner-up, English Category; Mark Kenly L. Oray (represented by his mother, 6th from left) – winner, English Category and runner-up, Binisaya Category. The recognition of the Loonanon awardees was held on January 21, 2025 at the Juan M.
