Si Antequera Mayor Jose Mario Pahang (inset, upper left corner) nag-awhag sa mga katawhan sa pagsalmot sa “KANTA PISKAYA” (Amateur Singing Contest). Mao kini ang mga GUIDELINES: 1. Kanta, Piskaya is an amateur singing competition; 2. The contest is open to all Boholano amateur singers, who have not won any major prize in any national singing contest and do not have a previous or existing record contract with any record label. (Please bring any ID or document to support your being Boholano.); 3. Participants must be 13 years of age or older during the time of the competition. (Please bring any ID or document to support your age.); 4. There will be 15 participants only; 5. A live audition will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2025, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 NN and 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM at the Antequera Training Center. There will be no pre-listing prior to the live auditions; 6. Qualified participants will be notified through text and will be asked to submit two (2) song titles for the competition proper to avoid duplication; 7. The competition proper will be held on March 14, 2025, at 7:30 PM at the Antequera Multipurpose Building (Covered Court); 8.On-the-day participants will not be entertained; 9. Participants should be in the venue 30 minutes before the start of the drawing of lots. Should any participant fail to show up during the drawing of lots, the organizer will select his/her number. Protests on the number order will not be entertained; 10. Accommodation arrangements for out-of-town contestants will not be shouldered by the organizer; 11.The decision of the board of judges is final and unappealable. Contributed photo
