“Jurassic World: Rebirth”
at Screenville Cinemas A standalone sequel to “Jurassic World: Dominion” in 2022, and the seventh installment overall in the Jurassic film series about mutated dinosaurs that thrived in a forbidden island for decades, “Jurassic World: Rebirth” is now showing at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall.
Five years after the events of the last film, the escaped dinosaurs are now dying due to its inability to adapt to the Earth’s climate change. For over three decades, these prehistoric creatures have grown and mutated out of control on a remote island in the Atlantic Ocean, prompting a pharmaceutical company to launch an expedition to collect samples from the specimens for medical purposes.
Hollywood beauty Scarlett Johansson (“Black Widow”) stars as a mercenary-for-hire tapped to lead the dangerous mission fighting against alien mutant dinos like the Tyrannosauros rex which has six limbs. Academy Award-winner Mahershala Ali (“Moonlight”) is her right-hand man, while Jonathan Bailey (“Wicked”) and Rupert Friend (“Asteroid City”) play the roles of paleontologist Dr. Henry Loomis and Big Pharma rep Martin Krebs, respectively.

“Superman”
at Screenville Cinemas A new Superman film and the second reboot of the film series from DC Comics, “Superman” will premiere worldwide on Wednesday, July 9, at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall. .
“Superman” is not an origin story, but the film will center on the early days of Superman (David Corenswet-“Twisters”) in Metropolis, when he is still looking for the right way to harness his powers for the good of the Earth. He is also establishing himself as one of the ace reporters of The Daily Planet.
As a young Clark Kent, he will also face reconciling his Kryptonian heritage with the life he knows on Earth. Clark is virtually struggling in his day-to-day life as a person, and part of the struggle is his decision to intervene in a foreign war as people are dying.
Later, Clark is about to face his first legitimate physical threat as the evil genius adversary Lex Luthor (Nicholas Hoult-“Mad Max: Fury Road) has the resources to test him. Lex has a gun with Kryptonite bullet which is the key to pulling Superman down.
“SUPERMAN” will premiere worldwide on Wednesday, July 9, at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall.

A stunning architectural masterpiece, the 4-level Alta Citta Mall spreads across 17,213 square meters occupying almost the entire block previously occupied by HNU (formerly DWC-T).
