Provincial police director Col. Joselito Clarito supports the filing of case/s against the locally stranded individual (LSI) who escaped on Wednesday (July 1, 2020), from the quarantine facility in Inabanga.
Clarito made the reaction in a radio interview on Thursday. July 2, 2020, over “Open Forum” program.
He said that it is only appropriate to file charges against the LSI who allegedly escaped as she endangered public health with her actions.
However, he was unaware about the case as he has yet to receive a report of the incident from the Inabanga police station.
Reports said that the Inabanga police filed charges of violation against Republic Act 11332, Articles 151 and 287 of the Revised Penal Code, against a certain Rodgelyn Geromo.
The report said that the same charges will be filed against Geromo’s live-in partner identified as Melchor Bautista via regular filing.
