Mario U. Araneta, 79, passed away on New Year’s Eve.
A devoted husband, father, and member of the Araneta family, Mario peacefully passed away on December 31, 2025, at the age of 79.
Born on September 12, 1946, to Laureano Circulado Araneta and Mercedes Usaraga Araneta, Mario leaves behind a legacy of love and family.
His wife, the late Corazon Mag-uyon, joined our Creator years back.
He is survived by his children: Leiux Zeus, Mark Anthony, Marlon, Rainier, and Hera Araneta-Reyes.
His brothers and sisters are Teresito Araneta, the late Pedro Araneta, Gudelia Araneta-Fullido, the late Teresita Araneta-Espejo, Amado Araneta, and Wilfreda Araneta-Bolotaulo.
He was laid to his final rest at the Victoria Memorial Park, Tagbilaran City on January 4, 2026, after a Requiem Mass at 1 pm at the Cogon Shrine.
