Upholding its tradition of academic excellence and backed by a strong financial standing, the university has broadened its investment portfolio through the acquisition of Bohol South Beach, along with additional properties in strategic areas of Bohol, to further strengthen its hospitality, tourism, management, and other related programs.
On December 6, 2025, new members of the Board of Trustees were elected during the annual UB Stockholders’ Meeting held at the Victoriano D. Tirol Advanced Learning Center Mini-Theater Hall. Elected were Atty. Ulysses B. Tirol as Chairman; Dr. Victoriano B. Tirol III as Vice Chairman; Dr. Lumin T. Pamaran as Secretary; Dr. Maricel A. Tirol as Treasurer; and members Mrs. Amparo B. Castaneda, Dr. Nuevas T. Montes, Dr. Will Tyron B. Tirol, Dr. Jes B. Tirol, Dr. Vittorio T. Gallito, and Dr. Felix N. Lao Jr.
The university is set to celebrate its 80th Charter Day on December 11, 2026. Throughout its remarkable academic journey, the university continues to stand as a beacon of hope for the youth of Bohol and Filipinos across the nation.
