Maribojoc Mayor Jonathan Rojas (inset, lower left corner) announced that the approved ₱5,000 fuel subsidy for tricycle drivers under the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) from the national budget was released last Friday, April 17, 2026. The distribution started in the morning at the Municipal Hall. He said this aid will help lighten the beneficiaries’gasoline expenses and strengthen their livelihood.
He reminded everyone that the ₱5,000 Fuel Subsidy for drivers is a NATIONAL program implemented by the national government and the LGU is only assisting through the DSWD to ensure a smooth and organized distribution in accordance with the passed law. (Contributed photo)
