The Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) honors former Bohol Police Provincial Office
(BPPO) director Col. Jonathan Cabal. The SP recognized the service Cabal rendered to
the Boholano people via a resolution passed last Tuesday during the regular session of
the august body.
Cabal served as the provincial director from August 2019 to April 2020.
During his tenure, Cabal led a series of drug busts, campaigns against illegal gambling,
and illegal fishing among others.
The resolution honoring Cabal was sponsored by Board Member Ricky Masamayor,
and approved en masse.
Col. Joselito Clarito replaces Cabal as Bohol’s Philippine National Police (PNP)
provincial director.
Col. Clarito is currently undergoing a 14-day quarantine in Panglao according to reports.
Cabal is moving to Police Regional Office 8 as chief of the directorial staff.
Prior to his assignment in Bohol, Cabal held several assignments in the Police Regional
Office (PRO) 7.
