The anesthesiologist who was reported to have allegedly served in the surgery of a 17 year old lady at the Ramiro Community Hospital (RCH) is already in home quarantine.
It was reported that the anesthesiologist allegedly served for another surgery in another hospital after engaging in the RCH surgery of the 17 year old who
underwent an appendectomy.
The 17 year old patient tested positive for viral infection through the rapid antibody test.
She had surgery at the RCH on Monday.
The anesthesiologist is now in isolation according to the president of the Bohol Medical Society Dr. Jefferson Ong.
Ong also said, “I think at this time, it is well that he (the anesthesiologist) is already in home quarantine and we continue to pray that the PCR result will be negative as well.”
Ong relayed the information to the Bohol Tribune on Wednesday.
Ong said that he was already able to talk to the anesthesiologist concerned.
Ong added that he will also be listening to the details from the side of the hospital regarding the incident.
