The provincial government of Bohol is expecting overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) to arrive either today or tomorrow, according to Kevin Damalerio, the information cluster head of the Capitol.

In a radio interview over Open Forum today, Tuesday, Damalerio said that the provincial government is expecting around 126 OFWs to arrive here either today or tomorrow.

Damalerio also said that there is no definite news on the actual number of OFWs who will be arriving here.

Moreover, Damalerio said that the estimated number of arriving OFWs may change depending on the profiling that will be facilitated by the Overseas Welfare Workers Administration (OWWA).

Reports say that the OFWs who are expected to arrive will be coming from Manila and will have a stopover in Cebu, before proceeding to Bohol.

Bohol expects more OFWs to arrive in in the province following the directive of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).
