Covid-19 infected OFW isolated at “Crabhouse Hostel” is free from virus after PCR test says the result is NEGATIVE

The overseas Filipino worker (OFW) that earlier tested positive in the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test is now virus free after the third test shows a negative result.

The provincial government reported late Thursday afternoon, that it received the PCR test result of the OFW erstwhile tested positive for Covid infection.

With the negative result, Gov. Arthur Yap said the OFW who is staying at the Crabhouse Hostel, may be allowed to go home to his family.

The OFW remained in quarantine since his arrival in Bohol last April 27, 2020, Yap said in a Facebook post.

Even if he tested positive for the Covid infection, he remained asymptomatic and healthy according to provincial health officials.

Moreover, the OFW may be allowed to return home once the authorities are able to issue a medical clearance.
