About 127 overseas Filipino worker (OFWs) are set to arrive from Manila via a sweeper flight any time tonight.

Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) head Anthony Damalerio confirmed the number of arriving OFWs based on the manifest provided to the provincial government.

No OFW names have been forwarded to provincial authorities, Damalerio said.

An A319 aircraft of Royal Air is the one reportedly going to transport the OFWs, Damalerio told the Bohol Tribune in a telephone interview late Tuesday (May 26) afternoon.

According to sources the OFWs will be billeted at the Bluewater Resort in Panglao town.

The OFWs are going to be placed under quarantine for 14 days.

Moreover, Damalerio said that all of the OFWs who are arriving here have negative polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test results.

The provincial government received information from the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) region 7, at around 2pm today, about the sweeper flight, whjch will be transporting the OFWs from Manila to Bohol.
