Bohol, as of this morning, has now three (3) new Covid positive cases and all are locally stranded individuals (LSIs) according to two separate reports.

Gov. Arthur Yap on Thursday, June 18, 2020, reported that two (2) LSIs, one from Balilihan and another from Sagbayan, tested positive for Covid infection.

The governor reported that the 2 LSIs are already in isolation.

The governor added that the Provincial Health Office (PHO) is assisting the different Municipal Health Offices (MHOs) in managing the health condition of the infected LSIs.

On the other hand, San Isidro town mayor Diosdado Gementiza Jr. reported in a Facebook post early Friday morning, June 19, 2020, that one (1) LSI from his town, who originated from Cebu, also tested positive for Covid infection.

He said that the infected LSI is already isolated and does not pose any danger to the general population of the town.

Currently, there are 10 active Covid cases in Bohol: three (3) in Tagbilaran, 2 in a private hospital in Tagbilaran, 2 in Sagbayan, 1 in Candijay, 1 in Balilihan, and 1 in San Isidro.
