30% CAPACITY ALLOWED – Jollibee, Chowking, et al re open dine-in services

Favorite and leading fastfood centers, Jollibee, Chowking, Greenwich, Max’s Restaurant, KFC, Mang Inasal, etc., as well as other restaurants and food shops here, are opening again the dine-in services after the government eases some restrictions allowing a 30% physical capacity of diners, in a move to maintain social distancing.

The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID) Resolution No. 45 highlights specifically the reopening of dine-in food establishments. To the delight of everyone, all Jollibee and Chowking stores now resume dine-in services, with all the health precautions strictly adhered just for the safety of all customers and staff.

Other food shops that allow dine-in, particularly at Island City Mall, Alturas Mall, and Alta Citta Mall, are The Prawn Farm, Harbour City, Rai-Rai Ken, Hukad, Dunkin Donuts, The Buzzz Cafe, Payag, Painitang Bol-anon, Alva’s, Sariling Hain at The FoodWalk, Hola, Kerrimo, Master Siomai, Potato Corner, Crepetealogy, Chef’s Jophils, Delicioso, Snack Attack, Zagu, Richter Tea, Serj, Turks, and more.

All the said restaurants and food shops underwent a joint random inspection conducted by the City Mayor’s Office/LGU and Department of Trade & Industry (DTI) starting last Monday, June 15, before the resumption of operations. Managers/heads and staff are always reminded to enforce the health and safety protocols, like constant disinfection and sanitation, and the social distancing rules.

Jollibee managing director Mrs. Nancy Doydora said, “Our doors are open again inside, and as we welcome you back it’s always a pleasure to serve everyone, of course in the safest way possible.” She added aside from dining inside, Alturas food shops still accept take out orders and food deliveries as usual.
