CHED: dili tinuod ang pagpahigayon ug face-to-face nga klase sa Hulyo

Giklaro sa Commission on Higher Education (CHED) nga dili tinuod ang mga nikatap nga balita nga magpahigayon na og pilot testing sa face-to-face classes ang komisyon sa buwan sa Hulyo.

Matud pa sa pahayag ni CHED Chairman Prospero De Vera III, nagmugna pa sila og mga sumbanan alang sa posibleng limitadong face-to-face classes sa low risk modified general community quarantine (MGCQ) areas.

“CHED, in consultation with the Department of Health (DOH), is now crafting guidelines for possible limited face-to-face classes in low risk MGCQ areas as part of the flexible learning system,” pahayag ni De Vera.

Giingong plano nga isumiter sa CHED ang guidelines sa Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID) sa katapusang semana sa Hunyo o unang semana sa Hulyo.

Gidugang pa niini nga personal nga bisitahon sa CHED chairman ang higher education institutions (HEIs) nga magpahigayon og redesign sa ilang classrooms, libraries, auditoriums, cafeterias ug uban pang pasilidad base sa health protocols ug guidelines, ug kun kaya nga himuon ang limitadong face-to-face classes sa low risk MGCQ areas.

“I will do this in July and recommend to the IATF the applicable policies for the opening of classes in August,” matud pa ni De Vera.

Gidugang usab ni De Vera nga ang IATF niadtong Mayo 13, 2020 ni aprobar sa pagbukas og klase alang sa mga HEIs nga mogamit og ‘flexible learning’ sa Agosto.
