Pagbukas ug balik sa sektor sa turismo sa Panglao gipahigayon

Gipahigayon sa lokal nga kagamhanan sa Panglao ang pagbukas og balik sa upat ka sektor sa turismo human ang kapin sa tulo ka buwan nga pagpasarado niini tungod sa coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

Niadtong Hunyo 21, gipahigayon ang yano nga seremonya sa pagpanguna ni Panglao Mayor Leonila Montero ug Gob. Arthur Yap ang’ re-opening sa tourism-related‘ nga mga negosyo sa upat ka sektor nga naglakip sa accommodation establishments, land ug sea transport, restaurants, ug tourism-related nga mga kalihokan.

Pinaagi sa Facebook Page sa lungsod sa Panglao, makita nga gipangunahan ni Mayor Montero ang pagtugyan ngadto kang Gob. Yap sa mga booklets nga naglatid sa mga sumbanan sa operasyon sa upat ka sektor sa industriya sa turismo nga gibuksan sa maong lungsod.

Isip lider sa lungsod, si Montero mipasalig nga ang ilang gibuhat, nahisulod sa regulasyon nga gipatuman sa Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID).

“Isip inyo nga pangulo nga nangalagad, tugoti nga ako ug ang atong administrasyon mopasalig nga ang among gibuhat dinhi, nahasulod sa lagda nga gilatid sa Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases. Kini nga task force sa kagamhanan nagpagawas sa resolusyong numero 143 niadtong Hunyo 3 nga magpabukas na sa mga accommodation establishments basta nahisubay lamang sila sa gilagda nga mga sumbanan.”

As your servant leader, let me and my administration assure you that what we are doing here is within the boundaries of the regulations set by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases. This governmental task force issued resolution number 43 last June 3, 2020, which provides that Accommodation Establishments such as, but not limited to, hotels, resorts, apartment hotels, tourist inns, motels, pension houses, private homes used for a homestay, ecolodges, serviced apartments, condotels, and bread and breakfast facilities and other tourism-related businesses and activities may now gradually open as long as they follow the strict health protocols provided,” matud pa sa pahayag ni Montero.

Ang mga negosyo nga inisyal nga gibuksan, abli alang sa mga lokal nga Bol-anong turista lamang tungod kay wala paman gitugotan ang pagpasulod sa lalawigan ang mga domestic ug international nga mga bisita.

Samtang si Yap miingon nga sa Bohol, ang kita sa lalawigan naggikan sa 2 ka butang – overseas Filipino worker (OFW) ug turismo.

“In Bohol, our income is driven by 2 things – OFW and tourism. The third to a lesser degree which we hope to correct in the coming year is the income we are deriving from agriculture, which we hope to bring up,” matud pa ni Yap. (ecb/PIA7-Bohol)
