SETTING GOOD EXAMPLE. teamINABANGA officials and employees including contract-of-service and job orders personnel attend a general meeting presided over by Mayor Roygie Jumamoy. The meeting, done through videoconferencing at the SB Session Hall on June 24, 2020 is a manifestation of how LGU Inabanga is observing the rules to fight the pandemic, especially the rule on physical distancing. Mayor Jumamoy is always on top of every situation in the town, hence her agenda included the following: the town fiesta of Inabanga to be celebrated on June 28, 29 and 30, 2020 in honor of its patron saint, St. Paul the Apostle. Although no municipal activities are lined up on these days, Mayor Roygie is still advising all employees to celebrate the fiesta on a personal and private manner instead of celebrating it lavishly. This advice is for all employees to set an example in line with the guidelines stated in the municipality’s Executive Order No. 20 further extending the General Community Quarantine until June 30, 2020. Another announcement of the lady Mayor is about the temporary closure of all entry roads going to Inabanga for all non-residents and including no unnecessary travel on the said fiesta dates to control the movement of people due to the continuous threat of COVID-19.
