Gov. Arthur Yap extends the implementation of the modified general community quarantine (MGCQ) in Bohol. Yap signed Executive Order (EO) No. 38 dated on Wednesday, July 15, 2020.

The MGCQ extension will start on 12:01 am of July 16, 2020 and will end on 11:59 pm of July 31, 2020, the EO said.

The EO said that bars, nightclubs, KTV, karaoke joints, internet shops, and cinemas shall continue to be prohibited.

Furthermore, cockfighting, gambling, and betting activities shall continue to be prohibited, the EO said.

The EO said that locally stranded individuals, overseas Filipino workers, and visiting national and regional government officials who may be exempt from the effectivity of the sea and air travel ban under EO No. 8-A and are enjoined to coordinate and secure the necessary clearance with the Bohol Inter Agency Task Force before the scheduled arrival or visit in the province.

All violators of the existing protocols and other directives shall be punishable under Provincial Ordinance No. 2020-007.
