Two (2) siblings are reportedly tested positive for coronavirus disease (Covid) following the release of the report from the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center molecular laboratory.

The information was bared by Gov. Arthur Yap in a statement released on Friday, August 28, 2020.

The statement said that one of the siblings is from Guinobatan, Trinidad while the other sibling is a locally stranded individual (LSI) from Danao.

The patient from Trinidad was admitted in the Garcia Memorial Provincial Hospital and died on August 23, 2020. On the other hand, the sibling from Danao, the one who brought the Trinidad patient to the hospital, also tested positive for Covid.

The surviving sibling from Danao has been isolated since August 23, 2020.

The governor said that contact tracing activities have started in Trinidad and in Danao towns.
