Gov. Arthur Yap reports today that there are six (6) new coronavirus disease (Covid) cases recorded in Bohol, all of which are either locally stranded individuals (LSI) or authorized person outside residence (APOR).

The report was released on Sunday, August 30, 2020. The governor said that there are two (2) LSis from Sierra Bullones, one (1) LSI from Dimiao, one (1) LSI from Jagna, one (1) LSI from Tubigon and one (1) APOR from Baclayon, who all tested positive for Covid, via polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test. The test results came from the Bohol containerized PCR laboratory, the governor bared.

All of the new Covid-positive patients are already isolated in the isolation centers of their respective local government units (LGUs).

Moreover, Yap said that the contact tracing activities have started with the Rural Health Units of the respective LGUs leading the activities with the support from the Provincial Health Office.
