Cong. Edgar Chatto sees opportunities rising in the current challenges the world is facing and this is his message to the graduates of a local college.
Chatto was the commencement speaker at the graduation rites of Bohol International Learning College (BILC), according to the information from the solon’s office released on Sunday. August 30, 2020.
The same information said that all safety protocols such as social distancing were followed during the graduation rites.
The solon believes that the challenges of the times can bring better opportunities to the graduates in the future, and as such will create paths for them to hold important roles in the community.
Chatto has sustained the Academic and Leadership Awards in the said college, which is given to all outstanding graduates of elementary, high school, and college.
The awards’ program started in 1988 when Chatto was mayor of Balilihan town, and continued on even during his terms as congressman and former governor of Bohol.
