Gov. Arthur Yap reports that there are three (3) new coronavirus disease (Covid) cases considered to be community transmissions. The governor revealed the information by way of a statement coursed through Kevin Damalerio and released on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2020.

He said that the molecular laboratory of Gov. Celestino Gallares Memorial Hospital (GCGMH) released information that two (2) persons from Tubigon and (1) person from San Miguel town test positive for Covid.

The 2 persons from Tubigon are products of contact tracing efforts being done in the said town.

On the other hand, the person from San Miguel is admitted at the Ramiro Community Hospital for cardiac arrhythmia. Swab samples were taken from the patient as he was considered to be a severe acute respiratory infection (SARI) patient.

Moreover, the patient remains in isolation, at present time, the governor said.

All new cases are considered to be community transmission cases as they don’t have any travel history and neither they are overseas Filipino workers nor locally stranded individuals.

Contact tracing activities are being conducted in Tubigon and San Miguel towns, the governor added.
