LGU Albur breaks ground for new town hall

The local government unit (LGU) of Alburqueque breaks the ground for new town hall, reports say.

According to the reports, the groundbreaking rites were held on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2021 with Gov. Arthur Yap and first district Cong. Edgar Chatto gracing the occasion. 

Yap and Chatto each congratulated LGU Albur led by Mayor Don Ritchie Buates.

In a radio interview over Newsmakers ug Uban Pa on Feb. 24, 2021, Chatto revealed that the budget for the town hall is pegged at P50 million coming from the national government. He said that he worked to secure funds for the building of the new town hall for Alburquerque.

Moreover, Chatto said that the release of the funds last year was delayed due to the pandemic.

For his part, Buates is thankful for the support provided by Chatto and Cong. isidro Ungab of the third district of Davao City for their efforts in securing the budget for the new town hall.
