Richli Water awaits the response of the administration of Dauis Central Elementary School (DCES) regarding the water utility’s piping project in the Panglao-Dauis Center Road.
Richli Water’s Vice President for Communication, Elmer Lim, told The Bohol Tribune that the company has declined the proposal made by the DCES administration, via a certain Vicente Salazar, reportedly the principal of the school, for an access fee of P80,000.
The water company is seeking access to lay pipes along the outside perimeter of the said school, Elmer Lim bared.
However, the management of Richli Water headed by its president Ralph Miguel Lim, respectfully declined the proposal for an access fee and instead offered free installation of water service to the said school.
The issue stems from a letter sent to Richli Water by the principal of DCES, asking for a P80,000 access fee to provide access to the school’s property which is near a waiting shed where the company seeks to lay water pipes.
Elmer Lim said that the fee is too expensive considering the feasibility of the service area in Dauis.
As Richli awaits the reply of DCES administration regarding the access fee, Elmer Lim revealed that the company sought the intervention of the Department of Education and Dauis mayor Marietta Sumaylo to resolve the access problem so that the company will be able to provide safe and quality water to residents in Dauis town.
Meanwhile, the Tagbilaran City office of Richli Water located at Benigno Aquino Ave., barangay Cogon, announces that it now accepts payments via credit and debit cards, Lim said in a telephonen interview on April 3, 2021.
Moreover, Richli subscribers may also pay their bills via the mobile phone app GCash by simply going to the Pay Bills section of the app and pay the bill using the GCash balance.
