5.) What medications and supplements do you take regularly?
During the consultation with your dentist, expect that the dental professional to ask you these questions.
1.) Is your pain constant or do your symptoms come and go?
2.) Does any activity seem to trigger the pain?
3.) Does your jaw click or pop when you move it? Is that clicking painful? Is it difficult to open your mouth normally?
Your doctor or dentist will ask additional questions based on your responses, symptoms and needs.
The manner you prepare and anticipate these questions will help hasten the consultation process of finding the right treatment for your TMJ.
